One of the many views of the magnificent rock face of Table Rock, a few miles above the State Park.

tablerock2.

Here our friend Wenferd looks over one of the steep rock cliffs of Table Rock. Do not stand anywhere near the edge. My knees shake just looking at the photo!

From the top of Table Rock, you get a beautiful view of the Greenville Watershed.

King's Creek

Beautiful King's Creek Falls near Burrell's Ford in SC.

whitewater falls

The Foothills trail passes by Whitewater Falls and Lower Whitewater Falls. This is a photo of Whitewater Falls. 11/7/2001

lower whitewater

This is a photo of Lower Whitewater Falls, which can be hiked to from the Upper Falls between 4 and 5 miles, or for a shorter 2 mile distance, you can hike from the Bad Creek Project Parking lot.

foothills view

One of the awesome views on the Foothills Trail from Sloan's Bridge to Whitewater Falls.

blooms

Fall of 1998 was unusually warm. Here on November 25th, on the way to Sassafras Mountain on the Foothills Trail, we passed by some confused Carolina Rhododendrons in full bloom!
