Raven Cliffs Trail is located above Helen, GA off of Hwy 75 alt. on the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway (GA 348 N.). The trail head is marked with a sign on the left side of the road approximately 2.5 miles north of the Hwy. 75 alt. intersection. The trail is 2.5 mi to the cliffs making it a nice 5 mile (round trip) hike through the forest following Dodd Creek. The trail stays close to this beautiful stream most of the way and offers many nice small waterfalls, and the pleasant sounds of gushing water. At 2.5 miles the trail ends at Raven Cliffs which are awesome rock cliffs that are approximately 125 ft. tall and there is a large split in the cliffs through which the creek flows to make a beautiful waterfall. ![]() The new parking area with restrooms. ![]() The trail stays close to Dodd Creek most of the way. ![]() Many nice photo opportunities along the trail! ![]() More beauty of rushing water! ![]() At 2.5 miles, you will see the massive rock cliffs. ![]() The split in the rock cliffs through which Dodd Creek flows. ![]()
