TOCCOA FEST 98 is now history. What a weekend!!! More than 12,000 Christian Music enthusiasts gathered on the lawn of Grace Baptist Church in Toccoa, GA for a tremendous celebration of Jesus through music. All of the artists did a wonderful job of using their God given talents to bring glory and honor to our Lord. The fans were great and very enthusiastic. A time was given for an evangelistic message each day and in the end, 403 people made public decisions for Jesus Christ! 108 of these were first-time commitments, 191 rededications, 26 decisions to go into full-time ministry, and 78 came for assurances of salvation. What a victory for the Lord and what a defeat for Satan! Six and-a-quarter tons of ice were used, over 900 large pizzas were served, hundreds of hamburgers, hotdogs,etc., over 15,000 soda products were consumed. Volunteers from many local churches came together in a cooperative effort to work the event.

The program led off Friday afternoon with Reality Check followed by The Waiting, then Jay Strack gave a stirring message followed by a large response at decision time. Jars of Clay wrapped up the first day of Toccoa Fest with an evening performance. Saturday started off with performances by John Cox followed by Sierra then Big Tent Revival, Rebecca St. James, Anointed, Newsong, and a message from Dave Edwards and a tremendous decision time. Then the grand finale of the event was a glorious praise and worship time led by Ron Kenoly and company with the mass choir and band. Information on Toccoa Fest 99 will be coming soon.
